Nkosi sinks Amakhosi

A classy first half performance and early goal by Siyabonga Nkosi was enough to steer SuperSport United to a 1-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs in Atteridgeville.
The League champions start very well and give Chiefs no room to move with Hlompho Kekana and Letladi Madubanya totally dominating Tinashe Nengomasha.
Striker Glen Salmon puts in an enormous amount of work, closing players down and keeping the pressure on Chiefs right up to their last men, Jeffrey Ntuka and Thomas Sweswe.
The pressure pays off when Daine Klate eliminates Tlou Molekwane and swings in a perfect cross for Nkosi to score with his head against his former team. It's a well-deserved goal as Nkosi has been excellent up until now.
Chiefs cannot hold onto the ball long enough to start any attacking moves of note. SuperSport are tactically well drilled and play high up the field, pressing and closing Chiefs down.
SuperSport are well worth their 1-0 halftime lead. But Kaizer Motaung Jnr does waste a rare chance for Chiefs in the first half.
In the second half Chiefs are far better and enjoy more possession, but SuperSport do enough to keep them out. The main difference between the two sides is that while United managed to get in behind Chiefs' fullbacks and cause problems, the same cannot be said about Amakhosi.
After missing another decent scoring chance, Kaizer Junior is replaced by Knowledge Musona giving the supporters what they had been asking for since the first half.
But it is too little too late as a superior SuperSport take a deserved three points of Kaizer Chiefs.

Otherwise poor perfomance by the whole team, Nale carried the whole team alone and that's was just not enough. Tinashe did not stabilise the middle as required, and the team lost shape. Good 1st perfomance by SSU, especially Salmon.
CAN YOU REALLY BLOODY EXPLAIN WHAT YOU WERE TRYING TO SAY ABOUT THAT??????
