Ngobese rescues Thanda

A late goal from Emmanuel 'Scara' Ngobese denied Free State Stars all three points, as they drew 2-2 with Thanda Royal Zulu in their Absa Premiership match played at Goble Park on Saturday afternoon.

The former Kaizer Chiefs man scored with just a minute of regulation time left to help Amabhubesi recover from two goals down to claim a 2-2 draw with their high-flying opponents.

Diyo Sibisi handed Stars the lead just before the half-hour mark, heading home from Siyabonga Mdluli's cross in the 28th minute to put the hosts 1-0 up.

And three minutes later they doubled their advantage, as Sthembiso Ngcobo scored from close range with his left foot to put Ea Lla Koto well in control of the match.

Thanda, however, hit straight back. Bennet Mnguni got on the end of Clement Mazibuko's cross and headed past Kennedy Mweene to make it 2-1 in the 33rd minute.

After three goals in the space of five minutes, both teams looked to settle down and consolidate their respective positions, leaving Stars a goal ahead at the break.

Ea Lla Koto's Moses Mbuyane and Amabhubesi's Ahmed Mohammed both brought out good saves from their opponents' goalkeepers early in the second half, but the supporters at Princess Magogo had to wait until the 89th minute for the next goal.

Ngobese got on the end of Ryan Botha's cross and fired home his first goal for Thanda to secure what could be a vital point for the Absa Premiership rookies.

I'm not trying to take the glory away from Scara after saving another relegation candidate team. I just hope he has learnt his lessons and will as from now on take his soccer seriously. He owes it to himself to improve his game and avoid behaving like a clown in a circus. He must just make it a habit of scoring goals and assisting teammates to score. Soccer is about scoring goals and not show boating. Acting is for Menzi Ngubane who won R1 million on Friday night at the Stars of Mzansi Awards.

Congratulations to Scara and his team, basesembazweni still with Lidoda Duvha!! Djiehoa must start scoring again!! Parker is really sleeping!!! Why is he not scoring really? A point is better than nothing!! Sure Zakhele...i'm sure the guy has mended his ways in the field of play.

Zakhele, you must understand that Scara is a ball player not a ball kicker, everybody can kick a ball. If you think that soccer skill display is being a clown, then Menzi Ngubane should also hide his acting skills and we will see if he can walk away with R1 million.

What is good should be given credit without any form of doubt. Scara is a complete player and take nothing away from him. He's still trying to recover from discouragement and demotion he went through during Middendorps' time at Chiefs. This is the right platform to prove Muhsin and Bobby that he has what it takes. He did well and congratulations to the boy.

Scara, urguably one of the best midfielders plying his trade currently in South Africa, this is captain 2010, mark my words, he's just back from a devastating hell, there at Chiefs, there dude says he listen to the ball during games, *Sunday Times Interview*

Mushin Etrugal said he does Shit with the ball(The Star), he Mushin is now Shiting himself there at Chiefs.

Scara he has all of the qualities we need Strong, Great Physical Built, Skill, Arrogant (Game Time)and Vision for 2010 Captain, bar his so called discipline problems.

Bafana Bafana Coaches are well aware of his abilities they played for 90 minutes in a friendly against Swaziland, before the hellish experiences he saw at Naturena, and the subsequent arravial of Mushin.

if any player is to be contrated for 2010, then Scara should be the first, as Parreira wishes to identify and contract 40 players as Bafana Bafana Material during 2009. he will be at his prime in 2010 30 years old

Us Chiefs fans where never listened to in the firing od Scara, never. he is one of the best.

fate will prove us.

Unamnga Zakhele u r trying to take away Scara's Glory. Oksala thina eChiefs we are an embarrassement, to have let such a player slip. I watch soccer because i enjoy the way skill is shown and the buildup to the goal. If i only wanted to see goals i'd only watch tennis, and soccer would only have to be played by two players both being Goalies. A Coach who cannot coach a superstar is a poor leader Just like Mazinyo and Mshini, Poor Leaders period. In as much as Mshini fired Scara, he should have won the very first game, and all of the games that he has played. Nje and If Mazinyo was a good leader He would still be coaching in Germany. Wena Zakhele stop critisizing just for the sake of it. Talk about show boating, what was 16V, doing with the ball, What about ACE Khuse, Ace Ntsoelengoe, Shoes, Zinadine Zidane, Ace Mnini, Sister Monica, Zane Moosa, Jomo Sono, Kagiso Zero Mogale, Jazzy Queen Legodi, Tebogo Moloi etc what were they doing?
