Mamelodi Sundowns eased past Al Ahli Benghazi 4-0 in the return-leg of the CAF Champions League first round to seal a group stage spot.
The dominance from an attacking sense was re-stamped from the get go, with the earlier chances in front of goal falling to the home side.
Benghazi entered the second half on a more promising note, pinning the visitors on the back-foot in the earlier moments.
Five minutes from the break, the Brazilians made it 3-0 after Laffor brought down Lebohang Maboe’s pass to finish into the bottom corner.
Downs were now taking full flight as Sirino weaved through the Ahli defence to beat four individuals in the process before shaving the top corner of the net with a wide execution on 60 minutes.
Venezuelan Jose Ali Meza was recalled from the bench for Brockie, and after a few threatening moves, was soon rewarded.
With nine minutes to full time, Meza earned his stripes after running onto a loose pass before holding off two defenders to find the bottom corner.
The race was now certainly run for the Libyans, with Downs pulling clear whist their frustration to get a look in continued.
In the end, the Tshwane giants ran out resounding victors on the back of a solid second-leg display to march into the group stages of the competition.
