Azubuike Egwuekwe struck late in the second half to help SuperSport United claim a 1-1 draw with Cape Town City.
Eric Tinkler's charges started off lively as Aubrey Modiba unleashed a long range effort that sailed just over the crossbar.
Reyaad Pieterse had to be at his best on 30 minutes as the SuperSport shot-stopper produced a fine save to deny Victor Obinna from close range.
A minute later, Sage Stephens was called into action at the other end as the City goalkeeper was forced into a fine save by Thuso PHala.
However, it was City who broke the deadlock just before the break as Aubrey Ngoma marked his first start with a goal by drilling the ball into the bottom corner, 0-1.
10 minutes into the second stanza, Eric Tinkler opted for a change as Jeremy Brockie made way for Reneilwe Letsholonyane, while Roland Putsche replaced Obinna for City a few minutes later.
Stephens came to City's rescue once again in the 66th minute as he produced a good save at his near post to deny Sifiso Myeni.
With 10 minutes remaining, City introduced defender Tshepo Gumede for Craig Martin as they looked to shut up shop.
However, SuperSport managed to clinch an equaliser in stoppage time as Nigerian defender Egwuekwe headed home from close range to seal a point for his side.
