Chippa United booked a place in the quarterfinals of the Nedbank Cup for the first time in their history when they defeated Polokwane City 2-0 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday.

Second half goals from Buyani Sali and Andile Mbenyane wont he day for Dan Malesela’s side, who had been on a poor run of form with just a single victory in nine games.

The two teams will meet again on Tuesday night in an Absa Premiership clash at the same venue, an immediate opportunity for City to claim some revenge.
