Posted: 11 March 2017 Time: 16:57

Bloemfontein Celtic started their Nedbank Cup campaign with a 2-0 defeat of minnows Buya Msuthu at Moruleng Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Celtic booked a spot in Thursday's last-16 draw thanks to goals either side of the break from Deon Hotto and Vuyisile Wana in Rustenburg.

Hotto bundled home a cross from the right in the eighth minute, while Wana struck in the 86th minute against the ABC Motsepe League hosts.

Lehlohonolo Seema and John Maduka seemingly completed their final task as interim co-coaches of Phunya Sele Sele, with new coach Luc Eymael set to take over once he receives his work permit.

Going forward Seema will assist Eymael, while Maduka will resume his duties as team manager.
