Telkom Knockout Quarter-final Baroka vs Cape Town City

Cape Town City sent Baroka packing from the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals in a seven-goal thriller at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
The vistors drew first blood as Lehlohonolo Majoro banged home from close range after a good run through the middle by Aubrey Ngoma, who then laid it back for Lebogang Manyama, but the skipper unselfishly passed to the striker to slot home his second goal in two matches.
Bongolethu Jayiya then popped up unmarked inside the Baroka box to head home a well-placed cross from Ngoma and doubled the visitors' lead in the 20th minute.
Kgoloko Thobejane made a double change midway through the half, bringing on Jacky Motshegwa and Geoffrey Massa in place of Khalid Aucho and Cleopas Dube respectively.
Albert Mothupa then pulled one back for the hosts in first-half stoppage time as he rose highest to head Tshepiso Lietsisa's well-taken free-kick over Shuaib Walters, who was caught in no man's land.
Marshall Munetsi could have grabbed an equaliser seconds before the half-time break, but his header from another dangerous Baroka free-kick went inches wide of the post.
Manyama found himself in space inside the Baroka box 10 minutes into the second half, but the playmaker's shot was well blocked by Dineo Shaku.
Two minutes later, Oscarine Masuluke then pulled off a great reflex save to deny Lehlohonolo Majoro from six yards out, after the striker had sent a rather tame shot towards the near post from a tantalising Ngoma cross.
Motshegwa made City pay as he grabbed an equaliser for the home side in spectacular fashion just before the hour mark, volleying home a poor clearance from Roland Putsche from outside the box.
Baroka could have taken the lead in the 78th minute when the ball fell fortuitously for Marshall Munetsi, who was unable to steer his acrobatic effort on target.
Substitute Given Mashikinye looked to have bagged a winner when he sent a stunning curling effort into the top corner from a free-kick in stoppage time.
However, Mzwanele Mahashe equalised once again just seconds later as he rounded off a brilliant turn with a sweetly-timed volley to give the hosts 30 extra minutes to find a winner.
Sibusiso Masina rifled home with minutes left in extra-time, after being teed up by Manyama, to hand City the lead for the third time in the match, and Eric Tinkler's men finally held firm to bag the win.
