Baroka FC eased into the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals with a 3-1 victory over Platinum Stars in Polokwane on Sunday.
Mzwanele Mahashe headed home either side of the break before Marshall Munetsi sealed the tie with a lovely lob over goalkeeper Mbongeni Mzimela in the 64th minute at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Dikwena - who pulled one back in stoppage time via substitute Sipho Senne - nearly scored shortly before the break, but Sphamandla Mlilo's thunderous drive from range struck the crossbar.
Stars are now winless in six games in all competitions, which included a 1-0 league defeat to Bakgaga, who beat Cape Town City 2-1 in their previous outing.
The topflight newcomers joined Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs, SuperSport United, Free State Stars, Highlands Park and Cape Town City in the next round of the competition.
Mamelodi Sundowns will battle Polokwane City on Thursday for the remaining last-eight berth.
