The South Africa U-17 team were held to a 1-1 draw by Tanzania in a CAF African Youth Championship second-round qualifier in Soweto on Saturday afternoon.

Amajimbos scored midway through the second half thanks to a penalty from Luke le Roux.

However, Tanzania's captain Ally Msengi responded from the spot soon after at Dobsonville Stadium.
