Goalkeeper Tapuwa Kapini scored a remarkable winner as Highlands Park beat Ajax Cape Town 2-1 in their Absa Premiership clash in Tembisa on wednesday night.
The home side had taken the lead through Lindokuhle Mbatha, but were pegged back when Grant Margeman equalised.
It was left to Kapini to provide some heroics and become the third keeper this season to score after Platinum Stars' Mbongeni Mzimela and Baroka FC's Oscarine Masuluke.
Highlands Park started on the front foot and had the lead inside the opening 12 minutes when Mbatha fired home from a Mpho Sitayitayi pass.
The home side sat back after that and allowed Ajax to come at them, but the Urban Warriors could not force a meaningful effort on goal.
Ajax did equalise soon after the break though when Margeman, only just on as a substitute for Mark Mayambela, scored his first goal in the PSL.
But the home side hit back just four minutes later from a most unlikely source as goakeeper Tapuwa Kapini attempted to clear the ball and ended up netting.
Next up for Highlands Park is a an away trip to Chippa United on Saturday, while Ajax play Bloemfontein Celtic on the same day.
