Ajax Cape Town came from behind to grab a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Platinum Stars at the Mafikeng Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
The Absa Premiership encounter saw the match end with only 20 players on the park after each side had a man sent off.
After a goalless first half, the Cape side suffered a setback when they were reduced to ten men in the 55th minute after defender Clayton Daniels was given his marching orders.
The Tycoons soon capitalised, taking the lead just five minutes later when Dingane Masanabo netted the opening goal of the game.
Ajax, however, refused to be disheartened by their double setback and were rewarded with an equaliser in the 78th minute when Ghanaian striker Joseph Masel found the back of the net.
And two minutes later the playing field was levelled when Stars midfielder Michael Khaile was sent off.
Neither side were however able to find a winner in the last ten minutes of the game.
The result momentarily lifts the Urban Warriors to top of the log, although this could change after tonight's fixtures are completed.
