SuperSport United beat Golden Arrows 3-1 in their Telkom Knockout quarter-final clash at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday night.
Kingston Nkhatha has given Matsatsantsa the lead with a beautiful volley from just inside the area. The striker allowed Thuso Phala's right-wing cross to bounce before finishing low hard into the bottom-left corner.
Arrows goalkeeper Maximilian Mbaeva was in outstanding form to keep the score just 1-0 as he saved from Dove Wome, Thuso Phala and Kingston Nkhatha when goals looked the more likely outcome.
Jeremy Brockie eventually sealed the result for SuperSport with two goals in the last five minutes. The first was a from the penalty spot after he was brought down in the six-yard box and the second was a gift Mbaeva, who undid all his good saves with the sloppiest of giveaways as Brockie rolled the ball into an open net.
Chris Katjiukua scored a late consolation goal as the ball bobbled in the area before falling at his feet, and he smashed it into the top-left roof of the net from eight yards out.
SuperSport join Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs in the draw for the semi-finals on Sunday, after the match between Free State Stars and Mamelodi Sundowns.
