Golden Arrows drew with Platinum Stars in their Absa Premiership match on Saturday.
The goals came from Italo Fernandez for Arrows and Tshepo Ramakala.
The game was played from end to end, with both teams passing the ball around, but unable to create any constructive goalmouth activity.
Arrows took the lead in the sixth minute when Bafana star Kagisho Dikgacoi highlighted his technical ability, sending a free-kick into the box for Fernandez, unmarked at the back post, to chest into an empty net.
Stars equalised in the 38th minute through their livewire midfield playmaker Godfrey Sapula, who floated a ball towards goal which was met by left wingback Ramokala, who gave Arrows keeper Brenden Wardle no chance at all.
The second half was much the same as the first, with both teams displaying a lack of accuracy and penetration.
Simba Marumo has one of the best chances of the second half for Stars, when in the 80th minute he met a through-ball from Ramokala, but his shot across the mouth of goal when just wide.
In the 89th minute Dikgacoi shot from range, just outside the penalty area, but the ball went millimetres wide of the upright.
