Polokwane City Ajax Cape Town PSL preview

Posted: 20 February 2016 Time: 15:10

Ajax Cape Town beat Polokwane City 3-2 at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Prince Nxumalo was the hero for the Urban Warriors - netting a second half brace to take his tally to 10 for the season. It also means he has now scored a goal every 90 minutes on the field.

Erwin Isaacs had opened the scoring just before the break. Nxumalo got the second just after the restart, but Jabulani Maluleke pulled one back for Rise & Shine on the hour-mark.

However, Nxumalo got his second shortly afterwards, before Ghanaian defender Lawrence Lartey was shown a red card.

Maluleke netted his second in injury time, but it proved little more than a consolation.

Ajax go seventh with the win, while Polokwane City remain stuck in 13th.
