Africa Cup of Nations qualifier Sudan South Africa

Posted: 5 September 2014 Time: 19:48

New South Africa coach Ephraim 'Shakes' Mashaba got off to a winning start as his team beat Sudan 3-0 in a 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Friday night.

Substitute Sibusiso Vilakazi bagged a brace before debutant Bongani Ndulula added a third goal at Al-Merreikh Stadium in Omdurman.

Bafana Bafana next host continental champions Nigeria in their second Group A tie at Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday. The Super Eagles will begin their campaign against Congo in Calabar tomorrow.

POLL: How will Bafana fare against Nigeria?

Sudan started the match strongly, and wasted a great chance in the seventh minute when Balla Jabir put a free header over off a corner.

Two minutes later Bafana striker Tokelo Rantie should also have have done better as he fired wide after goalkeeper Moez Mahjoub spilled a right-wing cross from Ndulula.

The hosts, though, continued to press as Ramadan Agab triggered two stops in quick succession from stand-in Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa. First Agab's header forced Meyiwa to drop down smartly before his long-range effort drew an acrobatic, finger-tip save from the Orlando Pirates man in the 16th minute.

Rantie then threatened again just past the half-hour mark, but his powerful shot from the edge of the area was foiled by a stunning save from Mahjoub.

Mashaba, who returned to the Bafana hotseat at the expense of Gordon Igesund on September 1, made a change after the interval, bringing on Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Themba Zwane for debutant Keagan Dolly.

Soon after Mashaba introduced Vilakazi for Rantie, and the Bidvest Wits captain made an immediate impact as he scored with his first touch in the 55th minute. 'Vila' pounced on the rebound after Mulomowandau Mathoho's header from a corner was cleared off the line.

The energetic Vilakazi registered his second ever international goal in the 61st minute, cleverly creating space with a neat dummy before cracking the ball into the top corner from just inside the box.

Bafana dominated much of the second stanza, although Agab nearly pulled one back with a misdirected header in the 77th minute.

The visitors, however, put the result beyond doubt in the 79th minute when Ndulula scrambled in a cross from the left by substitute Oupa Manyisa, who replaced Mandla Masango 11 minutes earlier.

Sudan came agonisingly close to scoring at the death but Mohamed Tahir's header was denied by the post.

Sudan line-up: Moez, Bala Jabir, Kamal, A Gaafar, Faris Abdullah, Bakhiet, Alaa, Agab, Nazar, Bisha, Al Madina.

South Africa line-up: Meyiwa, Ngcongca, Mathoho, Hlatshwayo, Matlaba, Furman, Jali, Masango (Manyisa 68’), Ndulula, Dolly (Zwane 46’), Rantie (Vilakazi 54’).

Only king senzo, rantie and mathoho are in the game , the rest are busy grazing the Sudanese brownish grass... i foresee a 4-0 drubbing against Nigeria

The coach should replace Dolly and Masango with Ace and Vilakazi, then the boys will start to play.

Good day,

business offer

It will be surprising for you to receive this proposal from me since you do not know me personally.

However, I am sincerely seeking your confidence in this transaction, which I, propose with my free mind and as a person of integrity.

There are certain reasons i am contacting you now and you may wonder why.

A) It is practically impossible for me to carry out this business alone.

B) You live in a foreign land far away from mine, and we never met.

This should normally not be a requirement, but when you understand the transaction then you will understand why it is important that you live far away from me.

I am talking about 2 consignment box containing gold which weighs 45kg each that was kept in a security company i am working for, this is too much for a man of modest means like myself to handle in my country.

I believe from my few points above, you can begin to get an idea why I need your participation.I am writing you in respect of a foreign customer who has deposited his consignment box here in our security company called MAGNUM FORCE SECURITY (Accra Ghana)

His name was Engineer Carrol Barry. He was among those who died in the Malaysia  plane crash, Since the demise of this our customer, Engr Carrol Barry, who was an oil merchant and import/exporter of gold, I have kept a close watch of the deposit records and since then nobody has come to claim the box in our company as next of kin to the late Engineer.

He had only two consignment boxes here in our security company, and the document is coded.

It is only an insider that could produce the code of the deposit particulars.

As it stands now, there is nobody in that position to produce the needed information other than my very self considering my position in the company.

Based on the reason that nobody has come forward to claim the deposit as next of kin,I hereby ask for your partnership so that you can  send an application to the company as his next of kin to the deceased and get this boxes register and deliver to your home address in your country for mutual sharing between myself and you,%5 for charity, 5% for expenses we will incur just in case, 35% for you and 55% for me.

All I need is for you to follow my instructions closely because I am experienced in inheritance matters here and i am on ground here to advice you on every step until you receive the boxes,or if possible you can fly direct to Accra Ghana and i will instruct you on how to approach the company one on one here.

What is required of you is to send an application to the company as next of kin to the late Engineer and I promise you that everything will go smoothly.

I also indulge you not to make undo use of the information given to you, I need also to trust that you will not tell people  about this business, because i want it confidential

the box have to be deliver to you   first, then I get my share, then you can tell anybody what you chose thereafter.I shall need your help to invest in your country therefore, any experience you have in this area will be beneficial.

Please feel free to call me on my direct telephone number for any question or further explanations if required and upon the receipt of your favorable responses I shall send to you a text of application which you shall send to the company putting claim over the deceased boxes.

Our coach is gud. He identified the two players we were complaining about in the 1st half and took them out and now we are leading, Rantie and Doutie..

Vilakazi can teach that cow Rantie how to finish..
