ABOUT THE JERSEY One of the latest editions to the PUMA Africa range, the Ghana home shirt is the result of an inspiring and highly creative collaboration with a selection of artists from the Creative African Network (CAN).
The shirt combines performance fundamentals from the Speed collection and infuses them with core African elements and a bright bold colour palette. Mesh inserts increase breathability, allowing air to circulate freely around the body keeping you dry and comfortable.
The graphic is designed by CAN artist Godfried Donkor.
Speaking about his concept, which is inspired by the Ghana team’s nickname ‘Black Stars’, Godfried commented: “The title of the football kit for the Ghanaian national team is Raining Black Stars .The original concept being that the team will 'Rain' on their opponents whenever they play.”
