Bongi Ntuli says he won't temper his goal celebrations if he scores against his parent club Mamelodi Sundowns at King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi on Sunday afternoon.

Ntuli is in line to make his second 'debut' for AmaZulu against the Brazilians following his loan move from Tshwane last month.

The 27-year-old showed his value on loan at Usuthu in 2014/15, scoring six goals in 13 games but it was not enough to help the then-Steve Barker-coached side escape relegation.

The Durban-based outfit are now under the tutelage of Cavin Johnson, and Ntuli is eager to reiterate his worth to his former boss at Platinum Stars (now called Cape Umoya United).

"AmaZulu is very important to me because the team that I'm coming from Sundowns, I have to show them that I'm fit, I can still play and I'm motivated to score goals and help Usuthu win," Ntuli said.

"Scoring against them it'll come as a great boost because it'll be my first game in the PSL this season, and as a striker it's good to start by scoring goals, so I'll be delighted to score.

"If I do score I'll celebrate and I don't put this thing of 'it's the team that I'm coming from', so I'll celebrate perfectly."

Ntuli has only made two substitute appearances for Downs since joining the Absa Premiership champions from Golden Arrows in 2014, having spent the previous three years on loan at Dikwena.

Meanwhile, Ntuli says he decided against penning a deal with Djurgardens after the Swedish club offered him close to what he is earning in the PSL.

Ntuli had a trial in Scandinavia but opted to return home prior to linking up with AmaZulu.

"There was an offer they [Djurgardens] offered me but we couldn't agree with regards to money and I decided to come back," said Ntuli.

"They had an interest but we didn't agree the terms. The money was close with what I'm getting although I didn't see the contract properly.

"I heard it from my agent [Mandla Mthembu]."
