Myeni: Happy Jele is helping me

New Orlando Pirates signing Sifiso Myeni says his road to recovery from injury is being aided by Happy Jele, another injured Bucs player.
Myeni, who signed for Pirates recently, broke his shin after a tackle by Platinum Stars midfielder Joseph Molangoane in a League match on December 21, and is expected to make a return in March.
As for Jele, 'Magents' damaged his anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments, and tore the meniscus in his knee against Bidvest Wits on November 19, and faces a lengthier spell on the sidelines, estimated at between six and nine months.
However, Jele, according to Myeni, has gone out of his way to help Bucs' new signing with his recovery.
"Happy is the guy who has been pushing me at training. He has welcomed me well … as much as he focuses on his own injury, he has also been helping me a lot. He pushes so hard and that encourages me as well," Myeni tells KickOff.com.
Myeni recalls his duels with Jele vividly and admits he is happy to play with Jele, not against him.
"We are both happy that we will be playing together. He likes to attack and I like to attack, so for me it will be the same as playing with my old mate Patrick Phungwayo," he says.
"I used to like playing against Happy, because we used to have some sort of competition. I remember when I would go past him; he used to count the score between me and him. So if I went past him it will be 1-0 to me and when he got the better of me it would be 1-1.
"So say Pirates beat Wits in the end, he would come to me at the end of the match and say his team won but at least I won our battles," Myeni chuckles at the memory.
