No case against Manqana's agent

Eyebrows were raised yesterday when Ethekwini Coastal FC, coached by Njabulo Manqana's agent Lindani Shezi, were drawn against Orlando Pirates in the last 32 of the Nedbank Cup.

Shezi represented Manqana when the player signed for Pirates from Golden Arrows in January, and the Cup draw now means that there could be a conflict of interest.
 
When KickOff.com contacted the PSL on the matter, League general manager Derek Blanckensee said: "It will be difficult to comment on this matter.
 
"It's really difficult for us to say anything because there is no proof that Shezi is an agent. He is not a registered Fifa agent; if he was then it would have been easy to give you a concrete answer," Blanckensee said.
