Jordan Ayew gets Afcon debut

Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic has handed Jordan Ayew his Nations Cup debut and picked Samuel Inkoom for the left back slot in his line up for Ghana's opening game against Botswana.
Marseille youngster Jordan is in the line-up alongside his big brother Andre Ayew and Samuel Inkoom who is preferred to Masahudu Nigh at left back.
Jordan's selection now means all three of Android Ayew Pele's sons have played at the Nations Cup as their father did.
In the absence of Isaac Vorsah who is suspended John Boye partners John Mensah in central defence.
The central midfielder slot is taken by Emmanuel Agyemang and Anthony Annan with Derek Boateng the player to miss out.
Sulley Muntari will meanwhile play his first Nations Cup game since the third place play off in 2008 while Asamoah Gyan has been handed the task of leading the strike force.
Starting line-up: Adam Kwarasey, John Paintsil, Samuel Inkoom, John Boye,John Mensah, Anthony Annan, Jordan Ayew, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew, Sulley Muntari.
