Santos striker Jerome Ramatlhakwane scored again for Botswana in the African Nations Cup qualifiers as they won their Group K match against Togo 2-1 in Gaborone and extended their lead at the top of the standings.
He netted a late winner after Joel Mogorotsi got an early goal in the fourth minute to put the Zebras in the lead.
Botswana, with Dipsy Selolwane and Phenyo Mongala in their starting line-up, have now won three of their opening four matches in their bid to qualify for the 2012 finals in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
Wits striker Geoffrey Sserunkuma got the third goal of the afternoon in Kampala as Uganda began their qualifying bid in emphatic style with a 3-0 thumping of Angola n their qualifier.
Former Kaizer Chiefs star David Obua scored the opening goal as Uganda romped home, tapping in from close range 10 minutes before the break to set the home side on their way to an emphatic win over the country that hosted the last Nations Cup finals.
Defender Andrew Mwesigwa beat the offside trap to add a second goal in the 58th minute before substitute Sserunkuma headed home unchallenged two minutes from time.
