Orlando Pirates face the possibility of playing in the Telkom Charity Cup tournament without the services of midfielder Phenyo Mongalo.
Mongalo has been released by Ruud Krol so that he can join up with Botswana's Zebras ahead of their Afcon qualifier game against Malawi next month.
Mongalo is currently the toast of town in Gaborone after helping his country beat Chad in the Afcon qualifier game recently where scored the only goal of the match to secure 1-0 victory for the Zebras.
The Bucs star is now looking forward to continue with that form when Botswana meet the Flames in Blantyre on August 11.
Speaking to KickOff.com from Gaborone, Mongalo said the current Zebras' team is looking forward to making history by becoming the first Botswana team to qualify for the Afcon Finals.
"The spirit is high in the camp and the guys are geared up for the game against Malawi. We started the tournament as underdogs but now, after beating Chad, everybody has high expectations.
"The game against Malawi is going to be a big challenge but we are ready for fight even away from home."
