14 Edson Buddle
In 2000 Buddle joined the Long Island Rough Riders to mark the beginning of his professional football career, but after just one season he moved on to Columbus Crew, where he went on to make 101 appearances, scoring 42 goals. In 2006 he was snapped up by New York Red Bulls, but soon moved on to Toronto FC before settling with LA Galaxy in 2007.
Buddle had made a promising start to his international career, but a series of injuries have seriously hampered his progress, limiting him to just one full cap, coming in March 2003 in the friendly against Venezuela.
