13 Ricardo Clark
Ricardo Clark signed with MetroStars after being selected second overall in the 2003 MLS Super Draft, and after two encouraging seasons he joined San Jose Earthquakes. The midfielder, along with all his Earthquake team-mates, moved to Houston for the 2006 season, and he played a further three campaigns before eventually joining Eintracht Frankfurt in 2009.
Clark was part of the 2003 World Youth Championship team in the United Arab Emirates, and he picked up his first international cap in October 2005 in a friendly against Panama. He was also part of the USA team for the 2009 Confederations Cup, and he scored his first goal in a 2010 World Cup qualifier against Trinidad and Tobago, earning his country the 1-0 win.
