5 Oguchi Onyewu
Oguchi Onyewu began playing professional football for Metz in 2002, and has since played for La Louviere, Standard Liege and Newcastle, and in 2009 joined Italian giants AC Milan.
The forward’s international career began at the Under-17 level with the United States, and in October 2004 he was awarded his first full international cap against Panama.
He scored his first goal for his country a year later in the Gold Cup, helping his side to victory, and was also part of the 2006 World Cup squad, playing in all three group matches. His most recent achievement with the team was a winners’ medal in the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
