8 Xavi Hernández
Xavi is the Barcelona vice-captain, having been with the club since his teens. He has played over 300 League games for the Spanish giants and although he plays as a defensive midfielder, he has netted his fair share of goals.
Considered one of the finest playmakers in the game with a passing game second to none and incredible vision, he was named Man of the Match as Barca defeated Manchester United in the 2009 Champions League Final.
Xavi has played for Spain since Under-17 level and made his senior debut in 2000 against the Netherlands. He played in the side that won silver at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, as well as the 2002 and 2006 World Cups, and the 2004 and 2008 European Championships, where he was named Player of the Tournament.
