23 Jose "Pepe" Reina
Reina made his debut for Barcelona at the age of 18 and in 2001 was between the sticks in both legs when Liverpool knocked the Spanish Giants out of the Uefa Cup in the semifinal.
After finding his first team chances limited at the Nou Camp, Reina moved to Villarreal in 2002, and in 2004 helped them secure a Uefa Champions League position, saving an incredible seven out of nine penalties that season.
He had a successful first Premier League season, breaking David James' record for consecutive clean-sheets with seven in the League, and at the end of the 2005/06 season was awarded the Premier League's Golden gloves award for keeping 20 clean-sheets.
On 7 June 2007 he signed a new contract that will keep him at Anfield until 2012, and in August of the same year Reina won the Premier League's Golden Glove award for the second successive season after keeping 19 clean sheets in the 2006-07 campaign. In 2008 he yet again won the award, after keeping 18 clean-sheets.
Though he has been capped at international level and featured at the Confederations Cup, he is often overlooked in favour of Real Madrid number one Iker Casillas.
