15 Sergio Ramos
Sergio Ramos is a graduate of Sevilla FC's youth system, where he played 39 League matches before catching the eye of Real Madrid.
During his early years with the Spanish giants, Ramos was employed as a centre-back and was initially seen as a replacement for former club captain Fernando Hierro. However, the arrival of Christoph Metzelder and Pepe saw him revert to his more favoured right-back position.
He has since gone on to become one of the biggest names in Spanish football and made his debut for the national side at the age of 18 – a record at the time. Ramos was also a regular member of the Spanish side which won Euro 2008.
