17 Marek Hamsik
Marek Hamsik came up through the youth ranks with Jupie Podlavice in his home country in 2004, but after just five appearances he was bought by Italian outfit Brescia. He made his first-team debut at the age of 17, and during three years with the Serie A club he made 65 appearances, scoring 10 goals.
In 2007 he joined up with newly-promoted clubNapoli, and quickly became a fan-favourite following the signing of a five-year deal.
In 2005 Hamsik got his first taste of international action wit the Slovakia Under-19 team, and by February 2007 he had made his first-team debut in the 2-2 draw against Poland.
