11 Simão Sabrosa
Simão Sabrosa started his career at Sporting CP in 1997 before Barcelona spotted his talent and signed him two years later. In 2001 the winger returned to Portugal, joining Benfica where he played over 150 games before moving to current club Atletico.
Simão made his international debut in 1998 as a 19-year-old and only missed out on the 2002 World Cup due to injury.
He was part of the Portugal teams at all major tournaments thereafter, becoming a key member of the side.
He is Portugal’s 7th most capped player.
