Cristiano Ronaldo made an impact early-on in his career at Sporting CP, attracting the attention of Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. The Red Devils signed the talented winger in 2003 and he quickly rose to great heights at the club, helping them to three Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy.

He ended his United career in 2009, fulfilling a life-long ambition of joining Spanish giants Real Madrid, where reportedly he is now the world’s highest-paid player.
