Bruno Alves has spent his entire professional career at FC Porto and, despite three loan spells between 2002 and 2005, has racked up over 100 caps at the club.
The centre-back made his international debut in 2007 and was included in the Portugal squad for Euro 2008. He has since cemented his place in the side and played a vital role during the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
Should he impress during the World Cup, a move to a top European club could well be on the cards for the versitile defender.
