3 Paulo Ferreira
Paulo Ferreira started his career with Portuguese Second Division side GD Estoril Praia before moving to Vitoria Setubal at the start of the 2001/02 season.
He then got his break with Porto, winning the League and Cup double, and the Uefa Cup in 2003, and then played every minute of the Champions league success the following season.
Ferreira followed Porto manager Jose Mourinho to Chelsea, making him one of the manager’s first signings and staying behind after Mourinho left to manage Inter Milan.
He is a dependable defender that played an important role in Chelsea winning of back-to-back Premier League titles in 2005 and 2006.
Solid in the tackle, he is often seen charging up the wing on the overlap and firing in dangerous crosses.
He has won over 50 caps for Portugal and has featured in all major tournaments since Euro 2004.
