2 Joseph Yobo
Having started his career in Belgium with Standard Liege before switching to Olympique Marseille in 2001, Joseph Yobo was David Moyes' first signing at Everton, joining the side first on loan and then on a permanent deal in May 2003.
Since his arrival at Goodison Park the center-half has been an almost constant member of the first team squad, completing every single Premier League game in the 2006/07 season, and has also worn the captain's armband on occasion.
He holds the record for most appearances by an overseas player at Everton. He is also a regular for the Nigerian international squad, playing with them since 2004.
