Maarten Stekelenburg joined Ajax as a 15-year-old in 1997 and has since cemented his place as the club's first-choice goalkeeper.
The shot-stopper has racked up over 140 caps at Ajax and has never played for another club as a professional.
On the international scene Stekelenburg's opportunities have been limited since making his debut in 2004 as Edwin van der Sar was first-choice for a long time.
However, since Van der Sar's retirement from international football, Stekelenburg has taken over the number one jersey.
