Demy de Zeeuw's professional football career kicked off at Deventer-based club Go Ahead Eagles in 2000.
He moved on to AZ in 2005, where he played 119 games before joining current club Ajax Amsterdam in 2009.
The midfielder formed part of The Netherlands squad which won the Uefa Under-21 Championships in 2006, and went on to win his first cap for the senior team during the Uefa Euro 2008 qualifiers.
