Guardado is a talented left-winger plying his trade at Deportivo La Coruna. He possesses a powerful left boot and is always a threat on the wing with his lively pace and dribbling skills.
He made his international debut in 2005 in a friendly tie against Hungary and went on to represent Mexico at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
