19 Yoshito Ōkubo
Yoshito Okubo signed his first professional contract in 2001 with Cerezo Osaka before being loaned out to Mallorca, and he also spent time at VfL Wolfsburg between two stints at Vissel Kobe, with the striker resigning with the club in 2009.
Okubo was part of Japan’s 2004 Olympic team, although they were knocked out in the first round. He picked up his first international cap in March 2003 in a friendly against Korea Republic, coming on as a second-half substitute. He would have to wait another four years though before grabbing his first goal, netting in a friendly against Egypt in October 2007.
