4 Marcus Tulio Tanaka
Marcus Tulio Tanaka was born in Sao Paulo but traveled to Japan to complete his studies before joining J-League outfit Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 2001. He was soon loaned out to Mito Hollyhock though, and in 2004 he signed with Urawa Red Diamonds before eventually joining Nagoya Grampus in 2010.
In 2004 the defender was called up to the Japan Under-23 team, and two years later he made his international debut against Trinidad and Tobago, and scored his first international goal one month later against Saudi Arabia. Injury ruled him out of the 2007 AFC Asian Cup finals, but he returned later that year in a friendly against Cameroon.
