10 Shunsuke Nakamura
Nakamura is known for his vision and touch, and is also a specialist at set-pieces. He started his professional career at Yokohama Marinos in 1997 and moved to Reggina in 2002. He joined up with Scottish Premier League side Celtic in 2005 and spent three years there before signing with Espanyol.
He is one of the most successful Asian players to have plied his trade in Europe.
He has appeared for the Japan national team since 2000. He was named Most Valuable Player in the 2004 Asian Cup and participated in the 2006 World Cup finals.
