8 Gennaro Gattuso
Gennaro Gattuso played out his youth career at Perugia and started his professional career there in 1996. In 1997 he joined Rangers and moved to Salernitana in 1998.
He has played for Milan since 1999 and is a key member of the squad there.
Gattuso has amassed seventy caps for his country. He played in the 2000 Summer Olympics, the 2002 and 2006 World Cup, Euro 2004 and 2008, and the 2009 Confederations Cup.
He is a hard-working and seemingly irreplaceable member of the Italy national side. He famously ran around the pitch in his underwear when Italy won the 2006 World Cup and was also named in the tournament’s best XI.
The 32-year-old is also the proud owner of a fish shop in Gallarate, Northern Italy, where he has been living for the last eight years.
