20 Giampaolo Pazzini
Pazzini progressed through the youth team at Atalanta before making his first senior appearance in 2003.
After impressing early in his career, he moved to Fiorentina at a young age where he often formed a three-pronged front line with Valeri Bojinov and fellow countryman Luca Toni.
But with the arrival of another Italian, Alberto Gilardino, a few years later, Pazzini fell out of favour and moved to his current club Sampdoria in January 2009, where he has formed a lethal partnership with Antonio Cassano.
Renowed for his strength and lethal deadly touch in front of goal, he made his Azzurri debut in a 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Montenegro, where he found the back of the net in a 2-0 win.
