9 Vincenzo Iaquinta
Vincenzo Iaquinta’s football career began at Reggiolo in 1996. He then spent time at Padova, Castel di Sangro and seven years at Udinese, where he averaged nearly a goal every three games. That impressive form earned him a switch Juventus in 2007.
Iaquinta was a part of the Italy squad that won the 2006 World Cup. He played five of his country’s seven matches there, including the semi-final and final, and scored the second goal in their opening match against Ghana.
Despite struggling with a troublesome knee injury for much of this season, Iaquinta has returned just in time for the World Cup and has recently admitted that he would like to try his hand in the English Premier League.
