3 Maynor Figueroa
Honduran left-back Maynor Figueroa began his career at Victoria before moving on to Olimpia where he became club captain. His performances since joining the Wigan have earned praise him a regular place in the starting eleven, and on 23rd December 2008 then-manager Steve Bruce announced that he had joined the club on a permanent basis in a three-and-a-half year deal.
Figueroa earned his call up to the Honduran national team in 2003. He has gone on to make 65 appearances for his country and scored two goals.
