6 Hendry Thomas
Thomas made his profession debut for Club Olimpia in September 2001 at the tender age of 16 and went on to become a stalwart at the club, making 143 league appearances. The man nicknamed "El Doctor" has the honour of scoring the 2000th goal in Olimpia’s history.
After Roberto Martinez was appointed manager at Wigan, Thomas was offered a trial and he subsequently signed a three-year-deal to join the Latics. Thomas played seven matches for the Honduran Under-23 side scoring seven goals. He got his first senior cap in 2005, and has since played 38 matches and scored two goals for the Honduras national team.
