Honduras will be appearing in just their second World Cup finals, hoping to make it out of the first round and better their performance at Spain 82.
They snuck in through the back door in qualifying, pipping Costa Rica to the automatic berth after the latter had led the group for much of the final phase.
Led by Colombian coach Reinaldo Rueda, the undoubted star of the side is Inter Milan forward David Suazo.
