10 Giorgios Karagounis
Karagounis started his career in 1995 and played for Panathinaikos and Apollon Smyrnis in Greece, before spells with Inter Milan and Benfica. He returned to Panathiaikos in 2007. He has scored some crucial goals for the Greek side, who enjoyed some good runs in the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Cup.
He made his first full international appearance for Greece in 2009 against El Salvador and appeared in the qualifying for the 2002 World Cup. He was part of the squad who earned victory in the Euro 2004 competition and also played in the 2005 Confederations Cup, 2006 World Cup qualifying campaign and Euro 2008.
