15 Piotr Trochowski
Piotr Trochowski spent his youth career at a number of clubs before finally settling with Bayern Munich in 1999, and in 2003 was called up to the first-team, where he played two years before joining Hamburg in 2005.
Trochowski had been keen to play for his home nation of Poland, but the Polish Football Association were uninterested in his services, and he subsequently decided to play for the German national team.
In 2003 the winger played his first international match for the Germany Under-20 team, and three years later was awarded his first full international cap in the friendly against Georgia in October 2006.
He was part of the 23-man squad for Euro 2008, where he picked up a runners-up medal.
