7 Bastian Schweinsteiger
Schweinsteiger joined the Bayern Munich youth ranks in 1998 before stepping up to the senior squad in 2002.
He is renowned for his powerful striking ability, skill on the ball and he is a proven specialist at set-pieces. He is able to play almost any role in the midfield.
Schweinsteiger made his international debut in 2004 in a friendly against Hungary.
He was a key player for Germany the 2006 World Cup and the Euro 2008, where Germany lost to Spain 1-0 in the Final.
