1 Manuel Neuer
Manuel Neuer began his professional career at Schalke 04 in 2005 after progressing through every age-group at his hometown club.
He made his Bundesliga debut when he replaced the injured Frank Rost on the second match-day of the 2006-07 season.
Neuer progressed through the international youth teams and made his U-21 debut in August 2006 against the Netherlands and won the 2009 Uefa European Under-21 Football Championship in Sweden, keeping a clean-sheet in the Final against England.
He was called up to the national side and made his debut on 2 June against United Arab Emirates. He also played in the November friendly against Ivory Coast which ended 2-2.
